The US Economic Outlook in a Global Economy: Challenges and Prospects

Reuven Glick, a Group Vice President of the International Research Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, will discuss how shifts in the global economy are affecting the US economic outlook. He will explore the implications of the Euro-zone debt crisis, China’s potential role as the world’s future engine of growth and efforts to promote greater economic cooperation through meeting of G-20 countries and actions of international financial institutions.

Dr. Reuven Glick has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, taught economics at UC Berkeley, and was a professor at the Graduate School of Business at New York University. He has published extensively in books and papers on the international economy.
